Director, Pricing Strategy and Monetization

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement pricing strategies for Cisco’s cybersecurity offerings.

• Work in collaboration with product management, engineering, finance, operations, and sales teams.

• Provide actionable insights for pricing and packaging solutions.

• Perform annual pricing assessments, competitive analysis, and market research.

• Enhance monetization models and benchmark against industry trends.

• Examine customer behavior and price sensitivity.

• Develop scalable pricing tools and capabilities in conjunction with the wider team.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Pricing and Strategy.

• Propel pricing and monetization strategies for Cisco’s cybersecurity portfolio, which includes both hardware and software solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or business strategy.

• Ideally, experience within technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or consulting environments.

• Profound understanding of pricing models for hardware, software, and services, which encompasses subscription, consumption-based, and perpetual licensing.

• Familiarity with data analytics, financial modeling, and pricing elasticity techniques.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.

• Proficient with pricing and analytical tools.

• MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy, finance, or economics is preferred.

• Previous experience in a management consulting firm is advantageous.
