This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Assist in business development initiatives for the Outcomes Research team by identifying, nurturing, and securing partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and other life science entities.
• Create and implement go-to-market strategies for Tempus’ real-world data and analytical solutions across Medical Affairs, HEOR, Epidemiology, Commercial, and RWE teams.
• Collaborate with clients to grasp scientific, clinical, and commercial goals, translating those needs into Tempus RWE study proposals and data solutions.
• Work alongside scientific leads to define protocols, methodological approaches, and analytical deliverables.
• Showcase Tempus capabilities, RWE insights, and strategic recommendations to pharmaceutical epidemiologists, HEOR leaders, and medical liaisons.
• Collaborate with Tempus Key Account Directors to discover opportunities and create proposals for life science clients.
• Engage cross-functionally with Outcomes Research, Data Product, Clinical Abstraction, and Data Science teams to enhance data assets, analytical features, and offerings.
• Champion customer needs in roadmap discussions and provide market intelligence on RWE, oncology, and evidence generation trends.
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and business operations processes.
• Stay informed about methodological advancements in RWE, oncology guidelines, and clinical trials.
• Maintain a working knowledge of claims, EHR, and registry data sources and their application in retrospective observational research and clinical development.
• A minimum of 5 years of consulting or partnership experience in life sciences, real-world evidence, HEOR, medical affairs, or related areas.
• Proven ability to educate or position data-driven solutions, RWE offerings, or analytics-based services to pharmaceutical and biotech partners.
• Established history of meeting revenue targets, nurturing long-term client relationships, and managing complex enterprise accounts.
• Familiarity with oncology research, clinical trials, and the use of RWE in evidence generation.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Experience collaborating with scientific teams to shape study designs, protocols, or analytics that address client needs.
• Understanding of RWE endpoints, oncology disease landscapes, and retrospective study methodologies.
• Background in working with hematologic malignancy datasets or disease-specific outcomes.
• Capability to clearly present scientific or technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
