This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee a centralized portfolio management and planning function within Operations.
• Maintain a cohesive perspective on key operational initiatives and the support necessary for product and program delivery.
• Align, prioritize, and organize initiatives across teams and release cycles.
• Collaborate with Product, Program, Technology, and Operations leaders to integrate roadmaps.
• Manage a single intake point for requests related to Operations technology solutions.
• Establish routine planning cadences, intake processes, prioritization, and delivery schedules.
• Design and execute a unified intake process for Operations product modifications within the first year.
• Offer strategic planning advice to Operations leadership.
• Ensure transparency regarding ongoing work, dependencies, and accountability across Operations.
• Facilitate internal reviews, identify obstacles, escalate risks, and guarantee timely delivery.
• Communicate roadmap priorities, schedules, and expected results to leaders and stakeholders.
• Coordinate portfolio sequencing and cross-team prioritization with the Digital Ops Platform Lead.
• Integrate product and program initiatives that intersect with operational activities.
• Gather portfolio requirements and suggest prioritization sequences for Operations leadership.
• Align Operations, Product, Program, and Technology delivery milestones with product launch timelines.
• Analyze, document, and provide insights and data that influence product and service design.
• Monitor and convey the outcomes and impacts of implemented solutions.
• Advocate for the priorities of the Operations portfolio and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Over 7 years of experience in operations planning, portfolio management, or product/program management in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong grasp of product development and technology delivery lifecycles.
• Capability to convert operational requirements into actionable tasks for technical teams.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Program, and Technology leaders to align objectives, pinpoint dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ability to navigate effectively through ambiguity and create structure from disparate inputs.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in facilitating planning sessions, leading reviews, and presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to influence and foster relationships across diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel 6–8 times per year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business.
