Director of Workforce Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with state leaders and local workforce boards to conduct thorough process evaluations.

• Analyze existing workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks and outdated procedures, and design enhanced service models.

• Serve as the main technology liaison between customer requirements and the Career Team's systems.

• Assist customers in configuring and deploying tools that tackle everyday workforce service challenges.

• Convert workforce directives, including referral processes, case management, programmatic financial tracking, and labor exchange requirements, into technical process flows within Career Edge.

• Support workforce boards in mastering new tools to enhance outcomes for job seekers and their communities.

• Allocate a moderate amount of time on-site with state and local customers during active implementation phases.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher is required.

• More than 5 years of experience in workforce development.

• Experience across various levels of workforce services, ideally involving multiple boards, regions, or states.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with state and local workforce boards.

• Familiarity with managing regional variations and navigating complex, locally-specific requirements.

• At least 5 years of specialized knowledge in WIOA, TANF, SNAP, and other workforce-related contracts/programs.

• A minimum of 5 years of advanced project management experience.

• Capability to convert technology features into practical, easily understandable solutions.

• Strong skills in critical thinking, research, accuracy, time management, organization, verbal communication, and written communication.

• Demonstrated confidentiality, sensitivity, and tact.

• Successful completion of a background check, which includes criminal history, prior employment, and education verification.
