This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and enhance NODA's strategy for the Taiwan market.
• Establish and nurture relationships within Taiwan's defense, national security, government, and the wider defense ecosystem.
• Expand connections within the U.S./Taiwan defense network.
• Create stakeholder maps that encompass ministries, military services, acquisition organizations, research institutions, industry partners, and U.S. government entities.
• Identify emerging mission requirements and capability gaps for NODA's autonomous orchestration technology.
• Convert operational insights into actionable recommendations for product development, demonstrations, deployments, and regional strategies.
• Monitor Taiwan's security landscape, defense strategies, modernization priorities, budgets, acquisition activities, and competitive environments.
• Evaluate U.S. defense policies, budgets, security cooperation priorities, INDOPACOM strategies, and regional defense objectives.
• Supply leadership with market intelligence and strategic assessments.
• Perform competitive and market analyses to pinpoint partners, competitors, and investment opportunities.
• Suggest investments regarding time, resources, partnerships, and technical engagement.
• Involve stakeholders during the development of requirements and the formation of acquisition strategies.
• Navigate pathways for Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), hybrid acquisition, and international armaments cooperation.
• Identify routes from demonstrations and evaluations to operational adoption and large-scale deployment.
• Formulate and implement strategic engagement plans in Taiwan.
• Assist in the qualification, pursuit, market-entry, positioning, engagement, and capture strategies for strategic opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, Business Development, Capture, Growth, and executive leadership.
• Translate customer and market insights into feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
• Identify strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships.
• Engage with research institutions, think tanks, industry associations, and policy organizations.
• Create market assessments, executive briefings, white papers, presentations, and positioning materials.
• Represent NODA at government engagements, defense forums, industry events, exercises, demonstrations, and strategic discussions.
• Establish NODA as a thought leader in autonomy, unmanned systems, multi-domain orchestration, and emerging defense technologies.
• Report market developments, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership.
• Advise leadership on the Taiwan defense market.
• Coordinate Taiwan-related activities with U.S.-based leadership and Growth while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in defense, national security, government, military, strategy, international business development, or a similar field.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; sponsorship is available.
• Extensive experience working within or in collaboration with Taiwan's defense, national security, or government sectors.
• Knowledge of Taiwan's defense priorities, military structure, acquisition environment, defense modernization initiatives, and regional security dynamics.
• Proven ability to cultivate trusted relationships with senior government, military, industry, and national security stakeholders.
• Experience in developing market, defense, or regional strategies and translating intricate dynamics into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong comprehension of defense acquisition processes.
• Working knowledge of U.S. defense policies, budgeting, security cooperation, and acquisition processes.
• Experience with international defense acquisition, security cooperation, Foreign Military Sales, or similar government-to-government mechanisms.
• Capability to understand complex defense technologies and translate technical functionalities into operational significance.
• Ability to distill complex information into succinct executive recommendations.
• Capacity to work independently with limited daily oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior executives and government stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel throughout Taiwan and internationally as needed.
