This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• Coach, mentor, and facilitate professional growth for Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and success within the sales team.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Create and implement training programs focused on product knowledge and sales strategies.
• Work alongside Territory Managers to pinpoint opportunities, increase market share, and strengthen key-account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs to deliver actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure Agency and Territory Managers achieve or surpass both individual and team sales objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams on sales initiatives.
• Generate and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Formulate data-driven strategies to enhance sales growth.
• Review and authorize key forecasting and pricing decisions.
• Manage margin oversight.
• Create plans for enhancement and success.
• Elevate customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting industry.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proven success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• In-depth knowledge of the lighting industry.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
