This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue objectives.
• Guide, mentor, and facilitate professional growth for Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Establish and enhance relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Create and implement training programs for both new and existing products.
• Identify new opportunities, broaden market presence, and reinforce key-account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, providing actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure Agency and Territory Managers achieve or exceed individual and collective sales goals.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, operations, and product teams.
• Develop and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
• Formulate and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Assess and approve critical forecasting and pricing decisions.
• Manage margin oversight.
• Create plans for improvement.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting sector.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven leadership track record with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing and inspiring others.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; skilled at transforming insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of the lighting industry.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
