This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Facilitate professional development and performance management initiatives.
• Foster and enhance relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Create and deliver training programs for both new and existing products.
• Work alongside Territory Managers to pinpoint opportunities, increase market share, and fortify key-account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs to offer actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure that Agency and Territory Managers achieve or surpass their individual and team sales objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams.
• Generate and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide insights.
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and authorize key forecasting and pricing decisions.
• Supervise margin management processes.
• Formulate improvement plans focused on success.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; skilled at converting insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• In-depth knowledge of the lighting industry.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
