This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team to achieve and surpass revenue objectives.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional growth to Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Cultivate accountability, teamwork, and success throughout the sales team.
• Build and enhance relationships with distributors and independent sales agencies.
• Create and deliver training programs on product knowledge and sales strategies.
• Work alongside Territory Managers to pinpoint opportunities, increase market share, and strengthen key account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, offering actionable insights and strategic modifications.
• Ensure that Agency and Territory Managers reach or exceed their individual and collective sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams on sales initiatives.
• Generate and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide valuable insights.
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and sanction forecasting and pricing decisions.
• Supervise margin management activities.
• Identify areas for improvement and devise plans focused on achieving success.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting industry.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven track record of leadership with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to influence and inspire others.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; skilled at transforming insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• In-depth understanding of the lighting industry.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
