This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as a strategic leader and mentor for the Distributor Sales team.
• Steer the sales team towards achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and professional growth opportunities for Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Develop and present training programs for both new and existing products.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to pinpoint opportunities, increase market share, and fortify key-account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, offering actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure that Agency and Territory Managers meet or exceed their individual and team sales objectives.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, operations, and product teams.
• Generate and assess sales reports, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Formulate and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and sanction key forecasting and pricing decisions.
• Oversee margin management.
• Identify areas for improvement and create success-oriented plans.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting industry.
• At least 5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven track record in leadership with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• In-depth knowledge of the lighting industry.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
