This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue objectives.
• Provide mentorship to Territory Managers and agency partners through coaching, guidance, professional development, and structured training initiatives.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Create and deliver training programs focused on both new and existing products.
• Discover new opportunities, increase market share, and strengthen relationships with key accounts.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, offering actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure that Agency and Territory Managers meet or exceed their individual and team sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams.
• Generate and assess sales reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and approve forecasting and pricing strategies while managing margins effectively.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and create plans aimed at success.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience supervising sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven leadership skills with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to influence and motivate others.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; proficient in converting insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• In-depth understanding of the lighting industry.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
