This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team to achieve and surpass revenue objectives.
• Guide and mentor Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Support professional growth while promoting accountability, collaboration, and success.
• Build and nurture relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Create and deliver training programs for both new and existing products.
• Work alongside Territory Managers to pinpoint opportunities, enhance market share, and fortify key-account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, offering actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure that Agency and Territory Managers meet or exceed their individual and team sales objectives.
• Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams to synchronize sales initiatives with the company’s goals.
• Develop and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Formulate and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and authorize key forecasting and pricing decisions, managing margins effectively.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and create plans aimed at achieving success.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting sector.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Established leadership experience with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to influence and motivate others.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; skilled at translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Proven track record in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the lighting industry.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
