This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development for Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and success within the sales team.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with distributors and independent sales agencies.
• Create and implement product and sales strategy training programs.
• Identify new business opportunities, increase market share, and strengthen relationships with key accounts.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, offering actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure that Agency and Territory Managers meet or exceed their individual and team sales goals.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams on coordinated sales initiatives.
• Generate and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and authorize forecasting and pricing decisions while overseeing margin management.
• Formulate improvement plans and anticipate consumer needs to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the lighting industry.
• At least 5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; proficient in converting insights into actionable growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• In-depth understanding of the lighting industry.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
