This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead the Distributor Sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue objectives.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development for Territory Managers and agency partners.
• Cultivate accountability, collaboration, and success within the sales team.
• Build and enhance relationships with distributor partners and independent sales agencies.
• Create and present training programs for both new and existing products.
• Work alongside Territory Managers to pinpoint opportunities, grow market share, and fortify key-account relationships.
• Analyze sales data and KPIs, offering actionable feedback and strategic modifications.
• Ensure Agency and Territory Managers achieve or exceed their individual and team sales goals.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams.
• Generate and assess sales reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies for sales growth.
• Review and authorize key forecasting and pricing decisions.
• Manage margin effectively.
• Formulate plans for identified enhancements.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs.
• Negotiate commercial terms and policies with customers and sales agencies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within the lighting industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing sales teams and/or sales agencies.
• Proven leadership experience with a strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, and team development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing independent sales agencies and distributor partnerships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of the lighting industry.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
