This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with major P&C carriers to align Duck Creek solutions with client business objectives.
• Oversee all facets of the sales cycle within designated accounts.
• Educate prospective and existing clients on solutions and strategies to excel in their market.
• Acquire high-level new business from top-tier clients and nurture existing accounts.
• Serve as the sales authority for the team and assist Senior Leadership on matters impacting design and sales success.
• Establish formal networks with key decision-makers and act as an external representative.
• Build relationships with key influencers and gain business insights related to assigned accounts.
• Lead, guide, and mentor Sales Directors on specific opportunities.
• Engage in the onboarding and training of new Sales Directors.
• Provide coaching to Sales Directors on pipeline development and management.
• Formulate and implement prospecting strategies to identify, qualify, pursue, and close new business.
• Schedule and lead face-to-face meetings with business leaders, decision-makers, and C-level executives.
• Develop, maintain, and expand a continuous sales pipeline.
• Present customer proposals and presentations that clearly convey the Duck Creek value proposition.
• Keep accurate account and sales activity records in Salesforce.com.
• Manage account development and opportunity pursuit from assignment to closure using Salesforce CRM.
• Provide accurate forecasts of new bookings.
• Create and implement strategies to secure new accounts.
• Perform additional related duties and activities as required.
• A degree is preferred, or equivalent years of relevant job experience in a similar role.
• 12+ years of business experience in large enterprise sales, navigating complex business software/IT solutions.
• 7+ years of extensive experience in the insurance industry/domain.
• 7+ years of experience in Large Account Management, leading account teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in managing large deal pursuit teams and complex buy-side consensus teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the full Duck Creek offering, including Service and Support.
• Proven track record of high sales achievement.
• Strong background in long-term resource, technology, and account structure planning.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Capability to understand and interpret carrier strategies and align Duck Creek software and services to C-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing and leveraging external partner ecosystems.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
• May require an overnight work schedule.
