Director of Sales – Health Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and nurture new sales opportunities while transforming relationships into enduring partnerships.

• Formulate detailed business plans to meet and surpass sales targets and quotas.

• Engage with clients to comprehend project scope, budgets, and timelines.

• Take ownership of the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing.

• Lead negotiations and manage contracts while keeping precise sales records.

• Collaborate with executives to align client goals and deliver measurable outcomes.

• Enhance customer loyalty and establish lasting trust through outstanding post-sale support and follow-up.

• Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients to anticipate and address their evolving needs.

• Propel growth within health systems, IDNs, oncology networks, and specialty pharmacies.

• Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts while seeking new business in digital health, patient access, and affordability solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven success in enterprise-level, B2B healthcare SaaS sales.

• Experience, preferably in patient support services, specialty pharmacy, care coordination, or financial assistance platforms.

• Familiarity with navigating clinical and administrative workflows.

• Established track record of selling to complex healthcare organizations, including health systems, IDNs, oncology departments, specialty pharmacies, and/or community oncology centers.

• Experience in managing lengthy sales cycles and engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Understanding of the patient affordability landscape.

• Exposure to copay assistance programs, foundation support, free drug programs, or reimbursement navigation.

• Experience in collaboration with access, financial navigation, or specialty pharmacy teams.

• Exceptional skills in relationship-building, communication, and presentations.

• Ability and eagerness to target and develop cold leads while building a robust pipeline.

• Knowledge of industry-relevant market research, sales strategies, and negotiation principles.

• Strong planning, closing, and multitasking abilities.

• Capacity to learn and adapt swiftly.

• Enthusiastic, with a positive attitude, resilience, and perseverance.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.

• Must successfully complete a background and reference check.

• Must currently be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must not require future employment sponsorship in the United States.
