This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Take charge of the Technical Project Management Office within Workplace Management Technology.
β’ Directly oversee Project/Program Managers, set objectives, conduct one-on-one meetings, manage performance, mentor team members, and handle hiring and staffing decisions.
β’ Enhance team capabilities and bench strength, identify utilization gaps, and redistribute workloads as necessary.
β’ Establish uniform project/program management standards for status reporting, risk/issue escalation, and stakeholder interactions.
β’ Manage backlog prioritization and sequencing frameworks, which include scoring criteria and prioritization decisions.
β’ Oversee end-to-end delivery tracking for milestones, dependencies, risks, and statuses across ongoing initiatives.
β’ Ensure that ROI, business cases, and value assumptions are documented during the requirements/intake handoff process.
β’ Refine delivery operating mechanics, encompassing SDLC/ADLC checkpoints, governance gates, and reporting templates.
β’ Represent the PMO in leadership and governance forums, providing data-backed portfolio status, risks, and resourcing updates.
β’ Collaborate with Product Management and Product Operations on the intake-to-delivery transitions.
β’ Cultivate relationships with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to address dependencies and facilitate delivery.
β’ Manage portfolio-level executive reporting and delivery dashboards.
β’ Identify systemic delivery bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
β’ Embrace and lead the use of AI tools, pilot high-value delivery use cases, scale successful workflows, and advocate for AI-enhanced working methods.
β’ Balance AI-driven efficiency with data integrity, governance, and source verification.
β’ 7-10+ years of experience in project/program management.
β’ 3+ years in a leadership role within a PMO or managing a team of project/program managers.
β’ Proven experience in managing backlog/portfolio prioritization frameworks and delivery governance at scale across multiple concurrent workstreams.
β’ Experience in people management, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
β’ Strong expertise in SDLC/Agile delivery models, including sprints, releases, and gates, within a matrixed organization.
β’ Exceptional executive communication skills.
β’ Detail-oriented and rigorous, with the ability to hold a team accountable for process and data quality.
β’ Practical familiarity with AI tools, including generative AI assistants and AI-enabled reporting/analysis tools.
β’ Proven success in utilizing AI tools to enhance personal or team productivity.
β’ Must possess authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
β’ PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent project/program management certification is preferred.
β’ Experience in real estate, workplace management, facilities technology, or enterprise SaaS product organizations is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Agent-centric development practices is preferred.
β’ A history of building or advancing ROI/business-case discipline within a requirements or intake process is preferred.
β’ Experience leading AI adoption or digital efficiency initiatives, including change management, is preferred.
