This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee DLH's pricing operations, including setting priorities, managing workload distribution, maintaining quality standards, developing processes, utilizing tools, and fostering team-member growth.
• Create and implement pricing strategies for significant, intricate, high-value bids and proposals.
• Act as the senior pricing consultant and guide cost-volume activities from the analysis of RFPs to the final submission.
• Interpret solicitation requirements, technical solutions, competitive insights, customer considerations, and business goals into effective pricing strategies.
• Lead and engage in comprehensive pricing models, cost estimates, rate structures, scenario analyses, and cost narratives.
• Present pricing recommendations, trade-offs, risks, and financial implications to executive leadership.
• Direct Price-to-Win initiatives.
• Ensure compliance of proposals with RFP requirements, corporate policies, FAR/DFARS regulations, and DFARS Estimating System standards.
• Assist in managing a recompete-heavy pipeline and contract backlog while safeguarding profit margins.
• Enhance pricing policies, procedures, templates, models, controls, and best practices.
• Build, mentor, and develop the pricing team.
• Collaborate with leaders in Finance, Contracts, Growth, Capture, Program, and Operations.
• Manage multiple pricing initiatives, deadlines, resource limitations, and proposal risks.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in U.S. Government contractor pricing, cost estimating, or related proposal pricing.
• At least three years of experience as the lead pricing resource on complex, high-value projects.
• Proven experience in leading pricing initiatives and mentoring or supervising other pricing professionals, including oversight of workload and quality assurance.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. Government contracting and pricing regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and DFARS Estimating System standards.
• Capability to develop and implement pricing strategies for complex competitive procurements and conduct or evaluate detailed pricing analyses and models.
• Strong understanding of Price-to-Win methodologies, competitive pricing intelligence, cost structures, indirect rates, profitability considerations, and pricing risk assessment.
• Experience with CPFF, T&M, and FFP contract types, as well as IDIQ, GWAC, and GSA schedules.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and complex pricing models.
• Ability to articulate complex pricing issues and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Proven problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, decision-making capabilities, attention to detail, and sound business judgment.
• Experience in a growth-stage or mid-tier contractor environment is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting federal health agencies is an advantage.
