This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead the Integration Management Office at Gastro Health for acquisitions, mergers, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and various transactions.
• Supervise the onboarding, stabilization, and optimization processes of acquired practices and joint ventures.
• Mentor, guide, and manage two Managers of Integration Operations.
• Set up portfolio governance, determine integration priorities, allocate resources, establish milestones, define decision rights, and create escalation pathways.
• Act as the senior liaison among support center team members, market leaders, physicians, third-party partners, and stakeholders involved in acquisitions.
• Conduct on-site operational assessments and perform gap analyses.
• Discover operational enhancements and M&A synergies, integrating approved initiatives into workplans.
• Lead reviews of the integration portfolio and deliver executive reports on status, risks, decisions, resources, and performance metrics.
• Oversee post-close practice stabilization, which includes onboarding, engagement, KPI monitoring, service continuity, issue resolution, and transitioning to steady-state operations.
• Provide oversight for the integration of EMR, practice management, scheduling, billing, reporting, and other systems.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Human Resources, Revenue Cycle, Technology, Credentialing, Marketing, Operations, and Clinical Services.
• Ensure that integration activities comply with regulatory, payer, credentialing, contracting, and company requirements.
• Own and enforce a standardized integration playbook.
• Develop and maintain tools, templates, dashboards, KPIs, and operating cadences.
• Manage integration workplans utilizing Smartsheet, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and other designated platforms.
• Provide or coordinate interim and transitional practice management support.
• Allocate integration resources to strategic initiatives, Project Horizon priorities, process improvement, and PMO responsibilities.
• Lead change management initiatives focusing on communication, physician engagement, teammate readiness, and adoption.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• BA/BS or advanced education is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in physician practice operations, multi-site management, or healthcare integration.
• At least 5 years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs, integrations, or transformation initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of physician practice operations, including front office, back office, revenue cycle, and EMR workflows.
• Proven track record in change management and engaging physicians/staff during acquisitions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing leaders and teams.
• Preferred experience in supporting mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, or organizational integrations.
• Strong executive-level communication, relationship management, and stakeholder influence skills.
• Proficiency in portfolio, program, and project management across multiple concurrent priorities.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving, risk identification, decision support, and performance management abilities.
• Change leadership experience with physician and teammate engagement during transitional periods.
• Strong organizational, planning, time management, sound judgment, and attention to detail skills.
• Capability to develop scalable standards while adapting to individual practices and markets.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging digital technology, data, and automation to enhance execution and visibility.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed, up to 75% of the time.
