Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Oversee project and program management for the Radius initiative.

• Facilitate ongoing prioritization across various workstreams.

• Create and sustain knowledge management systems for Radius initiatives.

• Propel the operational rhythm of the product team.

• Manage the operational aspects of the Radius strategy with systems and checkpoints.

• Implement market strategy alignment across four different markets.

• Direct internal strategy coordination for aligned Stand Together initiatives.

• Supervise relay operations that track market-based solutions across multiple markets.

• Uphold shared partnership protocols, signals, measures, and portability standards.

• Organize external communications, including the preparation of presentations.

• Ensure effective execution of the executive support function.

• Monitor funder commitments for development and portfolio planning.

• Collaborate with the Stand Together Foundation Investments team to provide operational data from the market side.

• Partner with the Managing Director to establish scalable systems, rhythms, and standards.

• Dedicate significant time to market engagement and support field execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of leadership experience in operations.

• Proven success in designing, enhancing, and scaling operational systems across multiple locations, markets, or regions.

• Exceptional systems-thinking capabilities.

• Competence in creating structures, processes, and operating rhythms without unnecessary complexity.

• A builder's mindset coupled with a curiosity to learn.

• Commitment to community-centered approaches to change.

• Experience in collaborative, matrixed work environments.

• Ability to foster trust, navigate multiple stakeholder relationships, and drive consensus.

• Highly adaptable and proactive.

• Willingness to spend considerable time in the field.

• Strong communication, project management, and execution skills.

• Readiness and capability to travel frequently to Radius markets: Grand Rapids, Wichita, Oklahoma City, and Dallas.

• Passion for contributing to Stand Together's vision and principled approach.

• Experience in community development, social enterprise, economic mobility, or related place-based work is highly regarded.
