This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a manufacturing strategy across multiple sites that aligns with business goals, promotes growth, ensures operational excellence, and enhances competitiveness.

• Oversee Plant Managers at various U.S. manufacturing sites to ensure uniform operational execution.

• Set operational standards and governance related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost efficiency.

• Lead the development of annual operating plans, capital investment strategies, manufacturing budgets, and resource allocation.

• Advocate for safety, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and improvements in environmental, health, and safety practices.

• Propel Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives aimed at waste elimination, capacity enhancement, and increased customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, Finance, and Human Resources to enhance manufacturing capacity, facilitate product launches, and streamline end-to-end operations.

• Utilize operational metrics and data analytics to detect trends, assess performance, and implement corrective measures.

• Recruit, mentor, and plan for succession within the manufacturing leadership teams.

• Promote collaboration and the sharing of best practices across manufacturing locations.

• Assess manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital manufacturing capabilities.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, company policies, and quality management systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations.

• At least 5 years in a leadership capacity; experience managing Plant Managers or senior manufacturing leaders is preferred.

• Proven track record in leading multiple manufacturing facilities in a geographically diverse environment.

• Demonstrated ability to spearhead organizational transformations, facility integrations, capacity expansions, or operational turnarounds.

• Experience in leading acquisitions, optimizing footprints, or implementing changes within manufacturing networks is preferred.

• Strong financial insight, including knowledge of P&L drivers, capital planning, inventory optimization, and productivity initiatives.

• Extensive understanding of contemporary manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.

• Proven proficiency and practical experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Ability to build, nurture, and retain high-performing teams through evaluation, recruitment, coaching, and development.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.

• Familiarity with manufacturing software, such as ERP and MES, and data analysis for informed decision-making.

• Willingness to travel approximately 40–60% to support manufacturing sites.
