Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive scheduling process for designated regions.

• Identify and address scheduling obstacles, capacity limitations, and service interruptions promptly.

• Collaborate with the Training Director to ensure all personnel complete necessary training and obtain certifications prior to commencing work.

• Monitor employee performance and availability.

• Organize facility site visits, inspections, and compliance assessments on a scheduled and as-needed basis.

• Ensure prompt resolution of facility-related concerns, including maintenance, equipment, and accessibility issues.

• Work with subcontractors and vendor partners to ensure consistency with program standards, scheduling needs, and performance expectations.

• Proactively recognize operational risks and issues that could affect service delivery, quality, or compliance.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of business continuity and emergency response plans for assigned regions.

• Oversee the daily operational execution of services across all awarded geographic areas.

• Manage scheduling effectiveness, employee coordination, facility compliance, and service delivery performance for a significant program supporting Veterans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 18 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 16 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, ideally in a healthcare, federal government contracting, or large-scale service delivery setting.

• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site operations with diverse teams, high-volume workloads, and stringent performance standards.

• Experience in overseeing large-scale scheduling, logistics, or service coordination functions, including the utilization of scheduling or case management systems.

• Demonstrated history of monitoring operational KPIs, identifying performance gaps, and implementing effective corrective measures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to effectively coordinate with teams and stakeholders.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

• Familiarity with VA, DoD, or other federal healthcare programs and their associated compliance requirements is preferred.
