Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze current operations, pinpoint inefficiencies, and implement enhancements to boost productivity.

• Oversee cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring clear responsibility, priorities, and timelines are established.

• Manage significant projects with well-defined plans, accountable parties, milestones, and deadlines until completion.

• Create and implement processes from inception to completion, ensuring adherence and desired outcomes are achieved.

• Set accountability for deadlines and deliverables, follow up on commitments, identify delays or obstacles, and maintain momentum on initiatives.

• Develop comprehensive reporting practices that provide leadership with insights into project status, progress, and results.

• Offer operational oversight for IT and technology projects, ensuring that priorities, timelines, and accountability are maintained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading operations and driving cross-functional initiatives, preferably within a remote or distributed setting.

• Strong expertise in designing and executing efficient processes and accountability frameworks.

• Highly proactive and self-motivated, capable of independently managing follow-through, balancing competing priorities, and escalating issues when necessary.

• Ability to cultivate trust, gain support, and hold others accountable without fostering unnecessary resistance.

• An optimistic, energetic, and persuasive communicator skilled at building authentic relationships and managing strong personalities.

• Proven success in driving initiatives and fostering relationships within a virtual environment.

• Availability to consistently work during Eastern or Central Time Zone hours.

• Proficient in utilizing technology, AI, and automation to enhance operations and uncover efficiency opportunities.

• Experience in law firm or professional services operations is advantageous.
