This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily operations across the studio network, corporate team, call center, scheduling, inventory, and warehouse.
• Manage recruiting, performance evaluations, talent assessments, and workforce planning.
• Lead the People Lead initiative.
• Develop and maintain scorecards, conduct operating reviews, and establish a weekly accountability rhythm.
• Handle payroll and back-office administration, including adjustments and exception resolution.
• Make decisions regarding facilities, vendor relationships, and location expenditures within established authority limits.
• Coordinate actions related to labor, compliance, and legal issues.
• Identify recurring operational challenges and implement strategies, responsibilities, and metrics to mitigate them.
• Make routine operational decisions at the appropriate level, providing clear updates to founders.
• Create location scorecards with designated ownership and conduct weekly reviews without requiring founder involvement.
• Enhance inventory accuracy, call-center booking efficiency, scheduling, payroll processes, hiring pipelines, performance management, turnover rates, location stability, and profitability.
• Assist in the opening of new locations and support growth from 25 to approximately 40 locations over three years.
• Proven experience in leading operations across various brick-and-mortar locations, such as in a regional, district, multi-unit, or general management capacity.
• Direct experience in several areas, including payroll, recruiting, performance management, facilities, vendor management, inventory, scheduling, or call-center operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team while maintaining a close connection to the work to identify issues and act promptly.
• Sound judgment in making independent decisions, gathering information, and when to involve founders or qualified counsel.
• A pragmatic approach to tools, contractors, automation, and AI solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on follow-through and accountability to measurable criteria.
• Willingness to meet travel obligations.
• Ability to work efficiently from a remote location near a major US airport.
• Capacity to travel up to 80% to portfolio company studio sites.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
