This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee Dropbox's comprehensive media strategy that encompasses both brand and performance aspects.
• Establish annual and quarterly investment strategies, outline the channel portfolio, and make decisions regarding media expenditure trade-offs.
• Supervise total media investments across various channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, video, mobile, affiliate, and brand channels.
• Take charge of media planning, forecasting, pacing, and reallocating budgets within the quarter to meet efficiency and growth objectives.
• Integrate brand and performance media by focusing on reach, frequency, creative strategy, and channel assortment.
• Create and manage a blend of in-house capabilities and agency collaborations; oversee agency relationships and develop internal competencies.
• Develop AI-driven media workflows for creative production and testing, audience modeling, budget distribution, bidding strategies, reporting, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Product Growth, Sales, and Marketing Data Science teams to link media signals to activation, conversion, product-qualified leads, expansion, and retention.
• Work together on attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling; convert performance trade-offs into recommendations suitable for executives.
• Lead and nurture channel and brand media leaders, clarifying ownership, measurement, and their connection to revenue.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in media, performance marketing, or digital marketing, with progressive scope and leadership roles at a rapidly growing B2B and/or B2C organization.
• At least 4 years of experience in team leadership, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and organizational structuring.
• Extensive hands-on experience in paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, video, and mobile marketing.
• Proficiency in planning, forecasting, budget pacing, audience design, and performance oversight.
• Experience managing brand media in conjunction with performance media.
• Familiarity with brand lift measurement, reach and frequency planning, and optimizing creative performance.
• Proven success in managing substantial media budgets with a demonstrated impact on acquisition efficiency, pipeline growth, or revenue enhancement.
• Experience in managing agency and vendor relationships while building internal capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills in attribution, incrementality testing, MMM/MTA concepts, and unit economics, including CAC, LTV, and payback periods.
• Experience in marketing through self-service, product-led, and sales-assisted approaches, covering consumer, SMB, and mid-market segments.
• Exceptional communication skills for executive-level interactions.
• Preferred qualifications include agency and in-house experience, familiarity with AI-enabled media workflows, development of media strategy or planning functions, knowledge of modern martech and adtech stacks, measurement innovation, experience with multi-product portfolios, and international or EMEA media expertise.
