This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive long-term Lifecycle Marketing strategy for Upstart's products and customer journeys.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing team of lifecycle marketing professionals.
• Set priorities, performance standards, and opportunities for growth within the team.
• Take ownership of revenue and performance objectives for Lifecycle Marketing.
• Utilize experimentation, optimization, and automation to enhance customer engagement and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Creative, Product Marketing, and Growth Marketing teams.
• Create customer experiences across various channels, including email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging, and emerging platforms.
• Develop scalable lifecycle infrastructure, governance, and measurement frameworks.
• Advocate for the integration of AI and automation to enhance operations, experimentation, and productivity.
• Foster engagement and growth throughout the customer lifecycle for Upstart's offerings.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in B2C Lifecycle Marketing.
• More than 5 years of direct management experience, including leading other managers.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in building and operating enterprise marketing automation platforms.
• Proven track record in managing revenue-driven Lifecycle Marketing programs with accountability for performance metrics, experimentation, and measurable business growth.
• Familiarity with enterprise marketing automation platforms like Iterable.
• Experience in developing lifecycle marketing programs for complex, regulated, or high-consideration customer journeys.
• Proficient in using customer data platforms (CDPs) to create and activate customer segments.
• Capable of leveraging AI tools for experimentation, workflow optimization, campaign development, and marketing decision-making.
• Ability to translate long-term business strategies into scalable lifecycle programs while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to work across East/West coast time zones.
