Consulting Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of clinical, operational, and performance data to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable suggestions for medical-surgical enhancement initiatives.

• Interpret intricate analytical results and craft clear, data-driven narratives that support client decision-making and facilitate organizational change.

• Create and implement project plans that adhere to schedules, budgets, deliverables, and anticipated value.

• Utilize project management methodologies to structure workstreams, oversee milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project execution.

• Lead client meetings and discussions, presenting findings and recommendations to clinical, operational, and senior leadership audiences.

• Cultivate relationships and manage expectations with mid- to senior-level client leaders throughout consulting assignments.

• Leverage medical-surgical clinical expertise to evaluate workflows, practices, performance, and potential for quality, operational, and clinical enhancements.

• Identify opportunities to enhance client value and collaborate with senior project team members to assess potential consulting solutions.

• Develop and refine consulting products, services, tools, methodologies, and approaches within the clinical practice domain.

• Mentor less experienced consultants in data interpretation, storytelling, deliverable creation, and the development and sharing of intellectual capital.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, clinical operations, performance improvement, or a similar healthcare setting is required.

• Active or eligible clinical licensure related to the area of expertise is preferred.

• Proficient in interpreting clinical, operational, quality, and performance data and converting findings into actionable recommendations.

• Proven experience in leading consulting engagements, improvement initiatives, projects, or complex workstreams within a healthcare context.

• Strong skills in project management, facilitation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting findings and recommendations to clinical and senior leadership audiences.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, foster effective client relationships, and collaborate across clinical and operational teams.

• Willingness to travel frequently and promptly throughout the year to meet client needs and schedules.
