This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Act as the strategic and operational foundation of Odevo's Insurance Group.
• Oversee the systems, processes, personnel, and data that empower the insurance program to operate efficiently at scale.
• Directly supervise Insurance Coordinators, Senior Insurance Coordinators, and regional Insurance Leads throughout the US market.
• Design and implement the team's operating rhythm.
• Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on organizational structure.
• Manage Odevo's national network of broker partner relationships from initial prospecting to policy placement.
• Oversee broker SLAs, service levels, and escalation procedures.
• Conduct business reviews with broker partners.
• Identify opportunities to enhance, modify, or deepen broker partnerships.
• Take ownership of the complete operational model for insurance delivery, which includes data collection, policy tracking, renewals, and post-placement servicing.
• Collaborate with Op Co leadership to prioritize high-opportunity accounts.
• Design, document, and consistently refine standard operating procedures.
• Lead initiatives for process improvement.
• Manage brokerage channel reporting, encompassing growth, retention, penetration, commission financials, and team performance metrics.
• Convert data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Work alongside data and technology teams to enhance systems and reporting infrastructure.
• 5+ years of professional experience in insurance, including insurance operations, brokerage operations, in-house risk management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
• Proven ability to develop and manage the performance of direct reports.
• Strong working knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products.
• Demonstrated success in managing external partner relationships at a program level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in building high-performing teams in dynamic, matrixed environments.
• Capability to create systems and processes and ensure team accountability for their use.
• Data-driven and analytical mindset; comfortable taking ownership of reporting, developing trackers, and utilizing data to inform decisions.
• Adaptability to ambiguity and growth.
• Preferred experience with HOA management companies, community association management, or similar property management settings.
• Preferred experience in a portfolio company or matrixed organization.
• P&C license held or ability to obtain one.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Occasional travel for broker partner office visits, Op Co locations, and company-sponsored meetings and training.
