This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create, implement, and enhance a comprehensive annual giving initiative.
• Increase unrestricted revenue while establishing a sustainable pipeline for future major and planned giving donors.
• Obtain Annual Fund and mid-level contributions of $10,000 or less.
• Oversee and nurture a portfolio of annual and mid-level contributors.
• Design and execute multi-channel annual giving strategies and appeal tactics through direct mail, email, digital, social media, and events.
• Lead initiatives for End of Year giving, Giving Tuesday, monthly contribution appeals, special campaigns, and rapid response efforts.
• Develop data-driven, segmented campaigns targeting new, renewing, mid-level, upgraded, and lapsed donors.
• Establish revenue, acquisition, retention, upgrade, engagement, and qualitative objectives.
• Analyze and report on program KPIs and metrics.
• Design and implement Moves management strategies for annual and mid-level donors.
• Monitor campaigns in Raiser’s Edge and adapt strategies in real-time.
• Generate reports and analytics to replicate and enhance successful solicitation campaigns.
• Collaborate with the Major Gifts team to transition qualified donors for personalized relationship management.
• Work with the Donor Relations Coordinator to create and manage donor giving societies, including the monthly giving program.
• Create and implement stewardship plans and meaningful communications to enhance donor experience and retention.
• Support Seneca’s mission to serve marginalized communities through mental health, community-based, and educational services.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive fundraising experience with an emphasis on annual giving.
• Strong alignment with and enthusiasm for Seneca’s mission and values.
• Ability to effectively communicate Seneca’s role in providing youth and families with Unconditional Care and its significance to donors.
• Comprehensive understanding of fundraising best practices, trends, and donor engagement strategies.
• Capability to engage with donors, executives, board members, and community boards.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and eligibility for insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy.
• TB test clearance is required.
• Fingerprint clearance is necessary.
• Compliance with any other state or federal licensing or certification mandates.
• CFRE credential is preferred.
• Experience in developing mid-level or pipeline fundraising programs is preferred.
• Background in integrating fundraising with program impact reporting and crafting compelling annual fund and mid-level appeals is preferred.
• Strategic thinking skills to align philanthropic goals with mission and outcomes.
• Advanced analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
• Strong expertise in CRM and segmentation, including Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce.
• Experience in creating and managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns for an organization of similar size.
• Problem-solving attitude and effective communication skills are essential.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees.
• Additional compensation available upon successful completion of the bilingual language proficiency exam.
