This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage the monthly closing calendar for all nine entities and ensure a hard close is achieved within the specified timeframe.
• Oversee consolidation, intercompany eliminations, foreign-currency translations, and allocations for shared services.
• Produce the recurring group reporting suite, which includes month-end reports, budget versus actual analysis, cash burn reports, a 13-week cash forecast, entity trend analysis, payroll reviews, and assessments of owner draws and professional fees.
• Confirm that standalone entity packages align with the consolidated results and clearly identify any missing entities or source data.
• Reconcile intercompany due-to/from accounts among Canadian, U.S., and Barbados entities, addressing legacy discrepancies and sign-convention errors.
• Maintain and validate shareholder loans, owner draws, and related-party balances with appropriate audit trails.
• Ensure equity is substantiated and maintain balance-sheet substantiation files for each entity.
• Take ownership of annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, driver-based operating forecasts, and entity-level KPI models.
• Manage the Group's liquidity perspective and escalate funding needs to the CFO.
• Provide variance analysis, including causes and recommended corrective actions.
• Monitor EBITDA margin improvement targets by entity and report on progress monthly.
• Supervise, review, and develop the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant.
• Collaborate with the Canada-based Controller following documented handoffs, service standards, and timely escalations.
• Review deliverables prior to submission to the CFO to ensure completeness.
• Act as a deputy for the CFO concerning operational finance issues and interactions with management of operating companies.
• Resolve outstanding reporting items and enforce policies related to foreign exchange, intercompany transactions, shared services, and other control measures.
• Philippine CPA or an equivalent professional designation (CPA, ACCA) in good standing.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in multi-entity consolidation involving intercompany eliminations and foreign-currency translations.
• Direct involvement in reporting to or collaborating with a CFO or Financial Controller in a North American reporting context.
• Experience meeting deadlines in a split or distributed finance function across various locations or reporting lines.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP or Canadian ASPE/IFRS.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including complex model creation, handling large datasets, inter-workbook links, and ensuring models are auditable.
• Experience in preparing audit workpapers and managing interactions with external auditors.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (CEFR C1 or above).
• Proven track record of working on a permanent schedule aligned with U.S. Eastern Time.
• A reliable primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps with a documented backup connection.
• Backup power arrangements that support completing a full working shift.
• A quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential communications.
• Two-factor authentication enabled on all Group systems.
• Full-disk encryption and current endpoint protection in place.
• Signed confidentiality and intellectual property assignment agreements.
• Submit a CV in English along with a one-page cover letter.

• Review draft entity financials and present findings verbally to the CFO during the final stage.
• Full-time, permanent employment through a Philippine Employer of Record or BPO partner.
