Director of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Provide oversight and support for financial operations.

• Manage accounting functions and ensure clear financial reporting for senior management.

• Conduct analysis of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and budgets.

• Prepare reconciliations for Accounts Receivable and Cost of Goods Sold on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis, as needed.

• Oversee the management and monitoring of Accounts Receivable, Revenue, Prior Authorization, and Records departments.

• Review and submit monthly invoices and purchase cards.

• Engage in purchasing activities and assist with audit testing.

• Take part in and lead operational meetings with company personnel and the Pharmacy Director.

• Support Directors in credentialing and licensing processes.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing and reporting of costs along with other reporting obligations.

• Supervise several staff members in the Billing and Accounts Receivable departments.

• Make recommendations for hiring, coordinate workloads, review and approve work, conduct performance evaluations, provide guidance, suggest salary adjustments, and address performance issues.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.

• Minimum required years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (exact number not specified).

• Experience in corporate accounting is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and analysis.

• Capability to supervise multiple staff in Billing and Accounts Receivable departments.

• Knowledge of relevant company policies and laws pertaining to supervisory responsibilities.
