Director of Client Implementation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of new programs and product launches for Virtual Peaker clients.

• Direct projects and team members to ensure client expectations are met or surpassed.

• Act as a senior escalation point for clients throughout the implementation phase.

• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with utility and program stakeholders.

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of implementation managers.

• Establish clear objectives and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

• Continuously enhance implementation processes, playbooks, and documentation.

• Take ownership of implementation KPIs.

• Perform additional duties as assigned that contribute to the success of Virtual Peaker.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

• 7–10+ years of professional experience in implementation, client onboarding, or complex project delivery, with a focus on team management.

• Experience in program development and management, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology setting.

• Knowledge of utilities, clean energy, and grid modernization challenges, including Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).

• Strong organizational abilities, encompassing project management, process design, and cross-functional coordination.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Focused, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset.

• High emotional intelligence and comfort with uncertainty.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
