Director – Molecular Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and oversee a team of Molecular Science Liaisons.

• Manage the daily operations of the MSL team.

• Provide insights and recommendations on national staffing strategies.

• Develop and organize training and enablement initiatives.

• Monitor MSL activities and interactions with customers.

• Act as a liaison for information and feedback between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences.

• Deliver medical and scientific education and support to the field organization.

• Present clinical data and educational content at physician sites and conferences.

• Attend POA/Commercial pitch meetings and relationship-building sessions.

• Advocate for Caris Molecular Intelligence to physician practices throughout the United States.

• Support and present at molecular tumor board discussions.

• Read and comprehend scientific and technical literature related to therapeutic oncology.

• Assist with various duties and special projects for sales, POA, and marketing.

• Train contracted speakers and function as a field trainer.

• Engage in regional speaking events, trade shows, and sales meetings.

• Review marketing materials to ensure they reflect the current molecular landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology or equivalent training and experience required.

• A minimum of 3 years of management experience.

• Previous experience in a commercial environment such as Pharmaceuticals or Commercial Lab space is a plus.

• Prior field experience collaborating with customers and/or sales organizations is advantageous.

• Creative thinking and the ability to generate new ideas or solutions for business challenges.

• Independence in thought combined with sound judgment regarding business needs.

• Proven commitment, self-motivation, and ambition.

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

• Self-starter with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for business applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel frequently.
