This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the marketing operations roadmap, aligning priorities with marketing and revenue objectives.
• Manage the architecture of marketing systems and ensure data integrity between HubSpot and Salesforce.
• Address discrepancies in marketing and sales reporting in collaboration with Sales Operations.
• Oversee the complete lead lifecycle, encompassing stage definitions, qualification criteria, scoring thresholds, routing logic, service levels, and sales handoff processes.
• Handle campaign operations and attribution while establishing robust measurement metrics for executive-level insights.
• Maintain funnel and conversion reporting as the definitive source of truth for marketing performance.
• Direct the marketing technology strategy, including decisions on build-versus-buy, vendor assessments, renewals, consolidations, and stack costs.
• Govern marketing systems, including permissions management, testing, documentation, and requirement specifications.
• Ensure compliance with marketing data regulations, including consent capture, suppression, and unsubscribe management in partnership with Legal.
• Lead, coach, develop, hire, and manage the marketing operations team.
• Collaborate with Enablement and Sales Operations to convey changes in routing, lifecycle, and definitions to the field.
• Report to the VP of Revenue Operations while supporting marketing leadership initiatives.
• Assess success through metrics such as routing accuracy, lifecycle consistency, data quality, reliable funnel reporting, roadmap delivery, stack efficiency, attribution adoption, and team development.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a closely related area.
• At least 2 years of experience in a management role.
• Proficiency in reviewing HubSpot or Salesforce configurations and independently assessing the work without being the primary builder.
• Extensive hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform and CRM, preferably HubSpot and Salesforce.
• Proven experience managing the integration between a marketing automation platform and a CRM.
• Familiarity with lead routing and meeting scheduling tools, such as Chili Piper.
• Experience in designing a lead lifecycle and qualification model, achieving alignment between marketing and sales.
• Strong analytical abilities and a track record of ensuring data quality, field and object design, definitional integrity, and resolving conflicts across data sources.
• Solid understanding of marketing funnel metrics and the capacity to present and justify positions to a CMO or CRO.
• Experience managing vendor evaluations and renewals, including negotiation skills and the ability to make tough decisions.
• Comfort with AI tools for creating, analyzing, and specifying workflows at scale.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting decisions and articulating requirements.
• Proficiency in SQL or a willingness to work directly with a data warehouse and BI tools is highly preferred.
• Experience in website operations is a plus.
• Background in B2B SaaS, ideally within a central Revenue Operations team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
