This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and uphold the organization's vision and strategy for learning and development.
• Create and sustain learning and development programs and processes that align with the organizational strategy.
• Partner with physician leadership teams on the USAP Leadership Academy and other developmental programs.
• Design and implement enterprise-wide initiatives, including onboarding, succession planning, and learning initiatives.
• Communicate learning and development offerings to leadership, team members, and stakeholders.
• Assess the balance between just-in-time, on-demand training and in-person offerings.
• Evaluate organizational needs concerning employee and leadership development in collaboration with HR leaders.
• Identify and assess new learning and organizational development initiatives.
• Establish project visions and action plans, oversee execution, and measure success.
• Suggest improvements for program effectiveness and future initiatives to HR leadership.
• Review processes, pinpoint efficiency opportunities, and implement recommendations.
• Stay informed on organizational development and learning trends, technology, and best practices.
• Manage the learning and development budget while establishing ROI and success metrics.
• Prepare and oversee communications for learning and development initiatives.
• Supervise staff to ensure the accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Engage in performance reviews and set individual and team objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the L&D team.
• Encourage collaboration between the Talent team and other HR teams.
• Evaluate L&D programs using principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Coach the team and business leaders on DEI-B in employee learning and development.
• Collect and maintain learning and development data aligned with DEI-B initiatives.
• Implement DEI-B best practices within development programs, processes, and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (HR, Business, etc.); Master’s degree is preferred.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in Organizational Development, Talent Development, Leadership Development, or related Human Resources roles.
• More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing and developing a team of skilled professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Excel.
• Strong ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all organizational levels, including external vendors and service providers.
• Proven ability to execute programs that achieve strategic enterprise-wide objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
• Experience in planning, coordination, and resource management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proactive, innovative, and efficient in identifying issues and proposing solutions.
• Strong collaborative decision-making and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to balance tactical team needs with strategic business perspectives.
• Capacity to work independently and drive results in ambiguous, uncertain, changing, or unexpected situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills with diverse personality types and management levels.
• Outstanding written and oral communication capabilities.
• Excellent technical writing skills for documentation development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to meet stated physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
