Director, Leadership Annual Giving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, mentor, train, and develop a team of 5–7 philanthropy managers, each managing a portfolio of over 500 donors

• Drive the team's collective goal of approximately $9 million

• Ensure the implementation of exceptional moves management protocols across all portfolios

• Handle a personal caseload of 150–200 donors to boost contributions and convert qualified donors into major gift donors

• Identify potential prospects and strategically approach donors for personal visits

• Progress annual donors through the donor pipeline and transition qualified donors into major gift portfolios

• Develop and execute donor cultivation and solicitation strategies in collaboration with senior philanthropy leaders

• Create an annual, customizable calendar for donor touchpoints

• Monitor process activity in CRM and assess success

• Ensure donor records are maintained accurately and completely

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required

• Preferred: Two years of experience in staff management and team leadership

• Preferred: A minimum of three years of fundraising experience in a fast-paced environment

• Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Required: Strong time management and computer skills

• Strong working knowledge of the moves management process is essential

• Highly desirable: Experience in sales management and development campaigns

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment

• Ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively

• Capability to collaborate with team members and mentor new staff

• Ability to establish collegial and effective working relationships

• One in-person meeting required annually
