Director – Hub Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the current team responsible for operations connected to manufacturer programs.

• Supervise client program managers.

• Engage in strategic and tactical planning meetings.

• Propose long-term strategies.

• Deliver strategic and operational plans for new developments.

• Contribute to proposal writing, contract negotiations, client presentations, and pricing strategies.

• Create policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions for manufacturers.

• Manage the recruitment, training, and oversight of program teams.

• Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.

• Carry out additional related responsibilities as assigned.

• Administer reimbursement and other hub services for clients in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical devices.

• Supervise teams that provide a comprehensive range of services for specific programs.

• Participate in relevant projects as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge and training in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, and reimbursement practices.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.

• At least five years in a progressively responsible management role.

• Required experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• General understanding of reimbursement, patient assistance programs, database functionalities, and operational policies and processes.

• Preferred knowledge of full-service call center programs.

• Strong background in customer and client management.

• Exceptional skills in project management.

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong decision-making skills.

• Critical thinking abilities with the capacity to devise creative and innovative solutions.

• In-depth industry and business knowledge.

• Experience in strategic thinking and long-term planning.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.

• Ability to nurture and develop talent within the team.

• Organizational agility with the ability to lead teams through transitions.

• Proficiency with computers and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office.

• Flexibility in schedule and working hours is necessary.

• Some travel may be required.
