This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Global Mobility & Immigration function throughout the DoorDash brand ecosystem.

• Take ownership of GMI strategy, operating model, performance, compliance risk, and the employee experience from start to finish.

• Create a unified global GMI ecosystem by standardizing policies, roles, and operational procedures across various brands.

• Lead and nurture an existing globally distributed team while developing the leadership pipeline and long-term team structure.

• Establish global GMI strategy and priorities that align with People Operations and the overall business strategy.

• Manage and enhance a scalable, growth-oriented, and M&A-ready global operating model.

• Assess, negotiate, and consolidate relationships with immigration and relocation vendors.

• Promote process improvements and the technology roadmap from case intake to visa filing and relocation.

• Act as the final escalation point for high-risk or cross-functional mobility and immigration challenges.

• Provide guidance to Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and senior leadership.

• Report directly to the Sr. Director, Head of Global People Operations, and participate in the Global People Operations Leadership Team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in global mobility and/or immigration.

• Several years of experience leading teams and overseeing strategies across multiple jurisdictions, ideally including the US, EMEA, and APAC.

• Proven track record of building or scaling a global mobility/immigration function or operating model within a multinational, fast-paced environment.

• Experience in developing and guiding people leaders.

• Strong cross-cultural fluency and experience in change management.

• Proven ability to lead globally distributed teams and achieve alignment across regions and brands.

• Experience in strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders, including Legal, Talent Acquisition, and People Business Partners.

• Sound judgment in handling high-risk, cross-functional escalations.

• Ability to convert ambiguity into clear objectives.

• Interest in utilizing new tools, including AI, to enhance efficiency, insights, and the employee experience.

• Educational background is optional.
