Director, Global Financial Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire lifecycle of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue processes.

• Ensure precise billing, timely collections, appropriate disbursements, and compliant revenue recognition.

• Enhance efficiency and accuracy across invoicing, collections, payment processing, and revenue workflows.

• Spearhead financial process improvements, ERP optimization, and automation initiatives.

• Identify and implement best practices to boost workflow efficiency and scalability.

• Oversee financial systems and reporting for operational performance and cash flow visibility.

• Guarantee accurate data capture and financial integration for month-end close and audits.

• Build, guide, and mentor the financial operations team.

• Establish clear objectives, accountability, and career development pathways.

• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Accounting, FP&A, and IT.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

• Optimize cash flow through collections, vendor payments, and liquidity management.

• Provide insights for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Enhance comprehensive vendor management, including onboarding, compliance, data integrity, and issue resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in financial operations.

• 3–5 years in a leadership position overseeing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and/or Revenue Operations.

• Proven expertise in billing, collections, cash application, AP, and AR.

• Strong grasp of financial operations processes, internal controls, compliance requirements, and policy implementation.

• Practical experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or Oracle.

• Familiarity with billing, collections, or process automation tools.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, manage workloads, and encourage continuous improvement.

• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Finance, Sales, Procurement, and IT.

• CPA preferred; candidates with significant experience in financial operations leadership may be considered without certification.
