Director, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the C-suite and executive leadership team.

• Convert intricate financial data into proactive growth strategies.

• Pinpoint growth opportunities, enhance unit economics, expand gross margins, and develop capital allocation models.

• Assess trade-offs related to go-to-market investments, product roadmap expansions, and global workforce headcounts.

• Manage the multi-year long-range financial model, annual budgeting procedures, and ongoing rolling re-forecasts.

• Perform budget and forecast variance analysis along with strategic monthly business reviews.

• Create scenario-driven financial models to evaluate business assumptions, pricing adjustments, market dynamics, and scaling paths.

• Standardize business metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC payback, LTV:CAC, and the Magic Number.

• Collaborate with leadership in Growth, Product, Customer Success, and Operations.

• Develop and refine deal packaging, tiered pricing, and enterprise contract frameworks.

• Set operational KPIs for functional leaders.

• Design, implement, and automate a contemporary FP&A technology stack, encompassing planning tools, BI dashboards, and ERP integrations.

• Recruit, nurture, and mentor a streamlined FP&A team over time; initially act as an individual contributor.

• Compile monthly executive dashboards, quarterly Board of Directors presentations, and communications for investors.

• Articulate financial insights into narratives that encompass operational momentum, trade-offs, and strategic risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance.

• Minimum of 5+ years in FP&A and strategic finance leadership roles.

• Experience in scaling a B2B SaaS or HealthTech enterprise.

• Demonstrated strategic partnership with C-level executives.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise SaaS unit economics, go-to-market strategies, net retention factors, and complex multi-product financial modeling.

• Proficiency in employing frontier models in daily operations and larger project initiatives.

• Experience in implementing and enhancing modern FP&A planning platforms.

• Background in constructing scalable financial infrastructure from the ground up.

• Direct experience in creating Board-level presentations and engaging with executive stakeholders.

• Familiarity with the US healthcare system, provider networks, usage-based API platforms, or healthcare data infrastructure.

• Preference for candidates with experience in Series B/C fundraising, debt financing, M&A transactions, or IPO preparation workflows.

• Preferred experience in modeling and managing financial operations across cross-border frameworks.

• Direct experience in communicating intricate financial strategies to institutional investors is preferred.
