Director, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the corporate financial model, encompassing a comprehensive three-statement setup (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and the architecture for scenario planning.

• Direct the complete planning cycles, which include the annual operating plan, monthly rolling forecasts, and long-term strategy, culminating in executive review and Board approval.

• Oversee the monthly business review process, featuring budget-versus-actual analysis, variance drivers, and future implications.

• Develop capital allocation and investment frameworks for growth initiatives, experimental projects, and financial trade-offs.

• Create unit economics, cohort analyses, and scenario evaluations to pinpoint optimization opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with GTM, Data, and RevOps teams on revenue and pipeline forecasting, identifying potential risks and opportunities concerning company targets.

• Craft investor-ready narratives that link financial performance, operational drivers, and forward-looking strategies.

• Supervise one Finance Business Partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or similar roles, with at least 5 years in corporate/strategic finance at a rapidly growing B2B technology or SaaS organization.

• Over 2 years of experience in people management, successfully building and leading high-performing teams.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with modern FP&A tools.

• Outstanding storytelling capabilities, translating complex analyses into strategic insights suitable for executive and board audiences.

• Ability to exert influence across all organizational levels without direct authority.

• A collaborative, proactive, and inquisitive nature with a strong growth mindset, coupled with a passion for problem-solving and making an impact.
