
Director – Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the preparation, examination, and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and relevant non-profit reporting standards.
• Act as the main contact for external auditors regarding technical accounting and reporting issues.
• Offer assistance for bond offerings and ensure compliance with debt covenant reporting.
• Assess complex and non-routine transactions, documenting accounting conclusions as per U.S. GAAP.
• Promote internal controls and strategies for risk mitigation.
• Work collaboratively with finance and enterprise teams to ensure reporting aligns with strategic goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is mandatory.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience, including prior management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly non-profit accounting standards (ASC 958, ASC 954).
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), investments, debt, and business combinations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial reporting software.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems, including Epic.
• Experience in extracting and merging large data sets and conducting analysis using tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant certification is required.
