Director, Financial Planning – Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term planning activities in collaboration with executive leadership.

• Provide timely, precise, and insightful reports regarding company performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends.

• Work alongside business unit leaders to convert operational strategies into financial results and promote accountability.

• Offer analysis and recommendations concerning investments, resource distribution, and growth initiatives.

• Create and uphold comprehensive financial models to aid in decision-making and risk management.

• Prepare presentations for the board, investor materials, and executive reports that convey financial performance and future outlook.

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-achieving FP&A team.

• Propel improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and analytical functionalities.

• Collaborate with the Vice President of FP&A, CFO, executive leadership, and business unit heads to enhance growth, profitability, and financial discipline.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in finance.

• A minimum of 5 years in FP&A leadership positions.

• Demonstrated ability to influence executive decisions through financial insights.

• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex data.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, BI tools, and advanced Excel/financial modeling.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to support global teams and participate in executive meetings.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the country where the position is offered.
