Director – Enterprise Architecture, Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Assess acquired agency environments, including their systems, integrations, operating models, data flows, reporting requirements, and technical debt.

• Create and uphold a repeatable discovery methodology for evaluating acquired agencies.

• Design tools, templates, and documentation that empower business analysts, project managers, and other personnel to carry out discovery consistently.

• Analyze discovery results, identify gaps, and ensure that evaluations support architectural planning and decision-making processes.

• Establish and uphold integration patterns, architecture standards, and agency archetypes.

• Convert discovery results into target-state architecture designs that align with the enterprise technology strategy and standards.

• Collaborate with business, product, delivery, and technology teams to evaluate integration options, assess complexity, and outline implementation strategies.

• Provide architectural leadership throughout the implementation phase to ensure conformity with approved designs and enterprise standards.

• Act as a senior architectural resource within the organization, contributing to strategic technology initiatives, architecture roadmaps, and modernization projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or similar technology leadership positions.

• Extensive experience with insurance agency platforms and related technologies, including AMS360, Epic, Sagitta, BenefitPoint, Zywave, or comparable solutions.

• Demonstrated capability to design and implement repeatable frameworks, processes, or methodologies that can be executed by cross-functional teams.

• Experience in evaluating existing technology environments and translating both business and technical requirements into scalable architectural solutions.

• Strong knowledge of APIs, application integrations, middleware technologies, data architecture, and data movement patterns.

• Prior experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, large-scale integration projects, or complex multi-entity technology environments is preferred.

• Ability to influence technical direction and collaborate effectively with business, product, delivery, and technology stakeholders.

• Capability to manage multiple initiatives and function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
