Director, Development Performance – Strategy Enablement

📋 Description

• Develop systems and processes to attract, nurture, and retain talent within the Development Pillar.

• Implement a comprehensive strategy that standardizes the ACS Way of fundraising.

• Modernize the training infrastructure of the Development Pillar.

• Foster a specialized, high-performing culture and enhance the employer brand of the Development Pillar.

• Create a cohesive performance framework with key performance indicators specific to each channel.

• Connect performance metrics to the health of the pipeline, portfolio value, and forecasts for revenue.

• Facilitate onboarding, shared playbooks, and structured curricula for fundraising.

• Support managers through specialized transitions for frontline roles, coaching, change management, and improving pipeline velocity.

• Identify and promote culture attributes specific to the Pillar.

• Collaborate across functions on industry benchmarking, recruiting and retention strategies, compensation structures, and talent acquisition.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in fundraising or sales leadership, ideally within a large, complex nonprofit or a highly matrixed corporate sales setting.

• Experience in talent management, organizational development, or sales enablement.

• Strong grasp of modern fundraising mechanics, including mass market acquisition, major gift portfolios, and campaign cycles.

• Demonstrated experience in managing significant structural and cultural changes.

• Competence in influencing and collaborating with C-suite executives, HR partners, and frontline personnel.

• Capability to lead and expand a small, agile team.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
