This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to create customer-centric products.
• Utilize Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and other technologies to extract insights from extensive volumes of numerical and textual data.
• Develop machine learning models through design, training, evaluation, validation, and deployment.
• Convert intricate data science tasks into achievable business objectives.
• Investigate and assess emerging technologies and cutting-edge methodologies.
• Question traditional approaches and work with stakeholders to enhance current practices.
• Foster talent development within the team and the broader organization.
• Gather, integrate, and evaluate data from diverse sources and formats.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of experience in data analytics, or a Master’s Degree with 7 years of experience in data analytics, or a PhD with 4 years of experience in data analytics.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in open-source programming languages for large-scale data analysis.
• At least 4 years of experience in machine learning.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with relational databases.
• Practical experience in developing data science solutions utilizing open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
• Knowledge of clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series analysis, and deep learning.
• Experience in retrieving, merging, and analyzing data from various sources and structures.
• Preferred: PhD in a STEM field with 5 years of experience in data analytics.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience working with AWS.
• Preferred: At least 3 years of experience in people management.
• Preferred: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Python, Scala, or R for large-scale data analysis.
• Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in machine learning.
