This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the performance and results of external data partnerships, which include third-party platforms, vendors, and technological solutions.
• Formulate and implement the organization’s data partnership strategy.
• Determine the organization’s vital data requirements.
• Collaborate with Customer Engagement and the Integrated Marketing Organization to enhance scalable customer engagement, omnichannel activation, field execution, marketing effectiveness, segmentation, and integrated customer experiences.
• Discover and assess innovative data offerings, emerging data sources, and possibilities for integrating AI-enabled capabilities.
• Set data quality service level agreements (SLAs) and metrics with external data partners.
• Oversee and enforce standards for data quality, security, compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal data management.
• Work together with data vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve data quality concerns and communicate modifications.
• Manage data acquisition from the requirements gathering phase through integration into Novartis platforms and systems.
• Create oversight mechanisms for external data partnerships.
• Support data stewardship practices across platforms, vendors, and technological solutions.
• Deliver performance metrics and governance reports to senior leadership.
• Organize training and awareness programs regarding effective and compliant data usage.
• Regularly assess existing partnerships and technology solutions to uphold DIPP data partnership standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 8+ years of experience in establishing and managing data partnerships, with a strong emphasis on data governance, data management, or related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of data partnership principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build strategic alliances with external data providers and vendors.
• Preferred experience working for a data vendor or extensively partnering with data vendors, functional teams, or therapeutic area teams to define, evaluate, integrate, and operationalize data assets.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards concerning data privacy and security.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to influence and drive change within a complex organizational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in assessing and managing risks associated with external data partnerships, ensuring the integrity, security, and quality of shared data.
