Director, Credit Portfolio Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Establish corporate credit policies, exposure thresholds, and risk tolerance frameworks for a multi-million/billion-dollar trade credit and receivables portfolio.

• Provide predictive analyses, strategic insights, and impactful presentations to Executive Leadership.

• Assess credit, counterparties, financial, concentration, industry exposures, and macroeconomic risks throughout the trade credit landscape.

• Build, lead, and enhance a team of credit and portfolio analysts.

• Set data standards and promote analytical best practices.

• Create, develop, and uphold scalable credit risk and predictive models, including loss forecasting, probability of default, roll-rate, and vintage analysis.

• Write complex SQL queries and code to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from receivables, collections, and underwriting systems.

• Investigate data discrepancies, audit credit loss and delinquency computations, and verify reports produced by the team.

• Assist in maintaining executive dashboards and visualization frameworks for portfolio health, delinquency rates, and credit risk KPIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of progressive experience in trade credit, credit risk management, corporate finance, or B2B receivables/portfolio management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance/Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Mastery of advanced Excel, SQL, and data programming languages (SAS or Python).

• Experience in developing data models and visualizations using Enterprise BI tools.

• Outstanding ability to convert complex, highly technical analytical results into clear, actionable business narratives for non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of B2B and/or Business Banking credit product pricing and profitability principles (preferred).

• Experience in statistical modeling, including logistic regression, machine learning, and SVM (preferred).

• Previous leadership or management experience (preferred).
