This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +5 more states.
• Develop and implement a nationwide corporate partnerships strategy in collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.
• Assess value propositions aimed at increasing non-industry-specific revenue and enhancing cause marketing initiatives.
• Build and oversee a portfolio of regional corporate partners and potential partnerships.
• Execute national corporate partnership and cause marketing strategies within designated regions.
• Identify, nurture, and solicit new corporate prospects alongside regional development teams, volunteer leadership, and local corporate partnerships staff.
• Create and present customized sponsorship packages and engagement opportunities.
• Generate integrated proposals with internal stakeholders and ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor and report on partnership activities, revenue, and pipeline using CRM systems and other tools.
• Collaborate with regional and national colleagues across various Chapters.
• Represent the organization at regional events, meetings, and presentations.
• Ensure high-quality stewardship and recognition plans for corporate partners.
• Keep abreast of CSR trends, regional market dynamics, and emerging partnership opportunities.
• Allocate up to 30% of work time to community engagement, relationship building, event attendance, and supporting local initiatives.
• Travel within the assigned market and region, including occasional overnight trips for meetings, training sessions, and events.
• A minimum of 8 years of proven and relevant fundraising experience.
• Advanced knowledge of prospect qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship processes.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, including campaign planning and execution, pipeline development, and mid-level revenue generation across various markets.
• Ability to provide strategic direction and ensure that staff meet specified revenue and activity objectives.
• Proven capability to manage extensive and technical fundraising campaigns.
• Track record of successfully coaching staff on gift closure and performance, as well as guiding leadership staff in portfolio management.
• Established nonprofit leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience in driving partnerships valued at 7-8 figures.
• Proficiency in AI, predictive analytics, and CRM tools.
• Familiarity with sales pipeline automation, donor journey mapping, and forecasting donor trends.
• History of implementing innovative fundraising strategies.
• Outstanding project management, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced expertise in CRM systems and data analytics.
• This is a field-based position requiring over 30% travel.
