This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Act as the primary relationship manager and strategic leader for a portfolio of national commercial payers, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and essential downstream accounts.
• Formulate and implement payer account strategies that promote favorable formulary positioning, reimbursement, and coverage policies for Viaskin® Peanut.
• Spearhead the DBV relationship and B2B interactions with designated accounts.
• Recognize competitive threats and devise response strategies to secure optimal product access.
• Oversee account-specific plans that encompass formulary strategy, coverage policy objectives, and contracting priorities.
• Build and sustain executive-level relationships with medical directors, pharmacy directors, and decision-makers on formulary committees.
• Direct payer negotiations and contracting discussions alongside the Market Access contracting team.
• Articulate the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Viaskin® Peanut to payer audiences.
• Convert Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) data and real-world evidence into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Create and present account-specific value dossiers and budget impact models in collaboration with HEOR and Medical Affairs.
• Proactively address payer policy inquiries and coverage obstacles prior to product launch.
• Collaborate with patient services and hub operations to synchronize reimbursement pathways with payer coverage determinations.
• Contribute to payer-facing materials and market access tools in conjunction with marketing and regulatory teams.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify opportunities.
• Work in tandem with Regional Account Managers and sales leadership on reimbursement matters and maximization of pull-through efforts.
• Supply competitive intelligence, formulary updates, and account insights to guide brand strategy.
• Collaborate with field outcomes teams for coordinated engagement with accounts.
• Represent Market Access during business reviews and brand team strategic planning sessions.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma Market Access, including prior leadership roles in account management and/or sales management.
• Must complete all mandatory safety and certification training and maintain an acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
• Requires over 50% travel.
• Experience in integrating Health Economics and Medical Affairs resources into access planning.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders across a matrixed environment.
• Capability to anticipate future policies, practices, and trends impacting payer management and access decision-making.
• Experience in leading pull-through initiatives alongside sales leadership and field sales teams.
• Strong understanding of Market Access, commercial payers, and PBMs, including Managed Medicaid.
• Well-honed negotiation skills.
• Awareness and comprehension of contract strategy implications and opportunities.
• Experience in identifying trends and insights and integrating them into a broader strategic framework.
• Ability to maintain precise account profiles and customer interactions using CRM tools.
• Extensive knowledge of key account selling for targeted channels and segments.
• Previous experience in specialty outpatient environments at the national account level.
• Experience in contract development and negotiation, financial analysis, legal considerations, and contracting execution/implementation.
• Strong executive presence, along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Solid financial acumen, analytical abilities, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, products, and projects concurrently.
